Rockford Volleyball is pleased to announce the return of a boy’s volleyball program to our offerings!
Club Volleyball is an opportunity for middle school boys ages 10 – 14 of varying abilities to develop their skills through practice and competition while also furthering their social and academic development.

- MIDDLE SCHOOL - Practices for Middle School start November 7 and end April 25
Tryouts/Evaluations
- The tryout is used for accepting players into the club. Teams are not put together until the first 1-2 weeks after practices begin.

Makeup Tryouts
- Makeup tryouts are by appointment only
- You must pre-register and email the Club Director to RSVP at mauestad@rockfordvolleyball.org

Tryout payments are non-refundable.

Please plan to have your athlete at the entire tryout. This is a closed tryout between the athlete and coaches. Parents are not allowed in the gym.

All athletes must be at the tryout day in order to be considered for a team.

An email will be sent to the parent once acceptance into RVA has been completed and with instructions on signing.

Players may be put on a waiting list for a team if not initially selected. If a selected player does not accept the spot on the team, we will select another player from the waiting list at that time.

| On Site Registration | ALL ATHLETES MUST PRE-REGISTER! NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED. Everyone should arrive 30 minutes early to check in and receive tryout t-shirt & number | |
| Tryout Evaluation | Athletes will be guided through the tryout and evaluated thoroughly by coaches. | |
| Club Selection | Coaches and Club Directors meet after tryouts to select those accepted into the club | |
| Communication | Emails will be sent out to athletes with their placement within 1 week after ALL Early tryouts are complete. Athletes/Families have 48 hours to respond to the offer with an Acceptance or Denial. We have all tentative details available before our tryout to allow for the decision making process to be efficient | |
| Team Formation | Coaches and Club Director finalize the rosters during the first 1-2 weeks of the season |

Practices
All club teams will practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Practices begin on November 7 at UW Health Sports Factory. All teams will practice for 2 hours between 5pm-9pm. More information on specific times will be released closer to the date.
Tournaments
Tournaments are typically every other weekend on Saturday or Sunday. A full schedule will be made available closer to the start of the season.
Holiday Breaks
We will have holiday breaks.
