Club Program
Founded in 1985, Rockford Volleyball Association is a
not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing
excellent training in the sport of volleyball to area
junior athletes.
Rockford is a great club with flexible programs, and
experienced and/or well-trained and educated coaches.
Rockford Volleyball Club practices at the Indoor Sports
Center located at 8800 East Riverside Blvd. in Loves
Park, Illinois. ISC is easily accessed just off I-90 at
the East Riverside exit. ISC is the best indoor
volleyball facility in the Rockford area with four
SportCourt surfaced courts with top of the line
volleyball net systems.
Rockford Club fees allow for a fair and decent stipend
for coaches and covers all the usual expenses of court
rental, uniform costs, and tournament entry fees.
Rockford Volleyball’s fees also cover entry fee and
coach’s expenses for one National Qualifier for Extreme
teams, plus an excellent physical training program with
Top Performers, Inc. for our both Extreme and National
teams. Some other clubs charge extra for these goods
and services.
Level
1: EXTREME TEAMS – Tryout Selection
Highly committed, serious, and competitive players whose
goal is to play at the college level. Three practices
weekly, Top Performers training, full uniform package,
and eighteen competition dates included in fees. Dec. –
May (June).
Level
2: NATIONAL TEAMS – Tryout Selection
Competitive players, goal may be to play volleyball in
college. Multi-sport athletes who can balance their
commitments are welcomed. All ages considered. Two
practices weekly, Top Performers training, full uniform
package, and 14 competition dates included in fees. Dec.
– May
Level
3: REGIONAL TEAMS – Tryout Selection
Players of all levels considered however efforts will be
made to make the most competitive teams possible. No
tournament travel – all tournaments at the ISC. Two
practices weekly, modified uniform package, and 10
competition dates included in fees. Very affordable club
program. Dec. – April
Level
4: CLUB CHAOS – Tryout Selection
Players wanting to get better for school teams. First
time club players and players looking for a low cost
club program. All ages considered. Practice is on
Saturday afternoons, modified uniform package, and eight
competition dates all at ISC included in the fee. Dec.
– April.
Level
5: BOYS RAMPAGE CLUB TEAM
Tryouts/sign-up at ISC on Saturday, September 12 for
first practice (4:30 – 7:30). Will accept players after
tryout date. This is for boys 18 and younger who want to
learn the game of volleyball and /or compete at a high
level. Training-only players are welcomed. One practice
weekly (Saturdays 4:30 – 7:30). Sept. – May/June.
