About RVBA

The Rockford Volleyball Club was founded in the fall of 1985 for the purpose of promoting the growth of volleyball in the Rockford area. Rockford Volleyball has grown year by year to become the competitive and respected club it is now. In 1998 Rockford Volleyball secured its first "home to call it's own" at the The Open Net Sports Center in Loves Park, Illinois. Rockford Volleyball, working in partnership with the Rockford Park District, then moved into a new home at the Indoor Sports Center at 8800 East Riverside Boulevard in Loves Park in January 2002.

In 2002 Rockford Volleyball qualified its first team for Nationals. The team repeated in 2003. Rockford 16 Black qualified for Nationals in 2004 in Houston. In 2010 Rockford 13 Black qualified for Nationals in Atlanta.

The club is a director-run organization and benefits from the support group of the Rockford Volleyball Association Board that helps the director in club matters. A parent-run Booster Club, whose main purpose is to provide fundraising opportunities for parents of club players, is also a vital support group of Rockford Volleyball.

The Rockford Volleyball website is your lifeline to information about tournaments, dues, and updated club happenings.
